A landmark day for the Velux 5 Oceans - all of the skippers are now in the Southern Hemisphere after Christophe Bullens crossed the Equator this morning. The Belgian passed over the Equator at 8.27am UTC, the fifth and final skipper of the Velux 5 Oceans to make it into the Southern Hemisphere. It's a major milestone for the 49-year-old skipper of Five Oceans of Smiles, who has had countless problems since leaving La Rochelle bound for Cape Town a month ago.
