The last pieces of the puzzle have materialized on Spirit of Canada-activehouse.info; now time to get to work. As the sails arrived early this evening, happy grins quietly celebrating what the team had long been waiting for turned serious as the workload instantly ballooned. The work is not done when a sail leaves the loft; installation of battens, track fittings and a healthy list of other technical tasks ensue. Open 60 sails are highly developed and for obvious reasons; they are what propel these skippers around the world. They will encounter some of the most heinous conditions that this planet ...
