Robin Scott-Elliot of The Independent gets a rare look at how the British Olympic Sailing system operates - producing five medals from the Sydney Olympic Regatta in 2000 and six from Qingdao, China in 2008, including four gold medals. Britain was top country at the recent Skandia Sail for Gold Regatta in the 2012 Olympic venue of Weymouth - winning six medals in the ten Olympic events and two medals from three Paralympic events.
