More than 160 school children from Heyfield and Cowwarr primary schools were at the Heyfield Wetlands on Thursday, August 26, for a waterway education activity organised by the Heyfield Angling Club. Fisheries Victoria Senior Fisheries Officer Errol Parmigiani said it was a great day and a good way to get important messages out to a lot of children in a short time. 'Most of the children were very interested in fishing and other water activities,' Mr Parmigiani said.
