Florida's coastline may well be a part of the 'Sunshine State', but rougher than expected sea conditions and occasional heavy rain welcomed competitors for last weekend's Suncoast Offshore Super Boat Grand Prix off Sarasota. Organisers, Super Boat International, said the rain 'danced around' the bay area, but said the cooler temperatures it generated excited fans and teams and led to some race day excitement.
