UIM Class 1 World Powerboat Championship - GSG Ceramic Design has been reclassified in race 1 of the Emirates/Dubai Duty Free Dubai Grand Prix Grand Prix after a successful appeal, with the race Jury overturning the original penalty. The Jury heard statements from GSG Ceramic Design, represented by Giampaolo Montavoci and technical commissioner Patrick Heslop, deciding that whilst it was clarified that the engine air box was not correct, the rules do not specify a penalty for this kind of infringement with GSG Ceramic Design given a post-race one lap penalty [time], re-classifying Cappellini and Montavoci in fifth place in ...
