We need to stop asking 'How dumb can they get?' because they're taking it as a challenge. The Ute Tax, or 'New Vehicle Emissions Standards' are a contender for the title of WORST policy in Australia, and that's saying something. They will not only FAIL to reduce Co2 emissions... they'll actually cause them to INCREASE (yes really, come do the math with me!) as well as incentivising Australians to buy super-sized vehicles (just like the Americans did) AND it sets a new low for government-mafia style behaviour. Every bureaucrat that hand a hand in this truly spectacular failure of a policy should get the sack, immediately.
