but haven't found direct answer
Do I really need 4wd in WA?!! or there are lots of spots with good roads?
Planning waveriding&freestyle around Perth (Lancelin and other)
I'd prefer small hatch with roof rack if possible :)

No 4wd required for over 90% of places, all the best and famous except one in geralton are accessiblw without 4wd

hardie u can get to peli point without a 4wd... i been there in a mini, haha... its takes awhile though

theres no need for a 4WD unless you need one. most spots now have got good access to the beach. however having a 4WD ensures that you can get back the way you came.
