Thanks for posting Cisco, is it a significant date or did you just stumble across the Boggo Road video?

I always had Billy in the back of my mind, love a few songs, never realised what a shredding guitar player he was.

I was doing a bit of music searching on Youtube and this one came up. I have seen most of Billy on the tube and knew this one was a recent post.

I believe it was his first concert upon returning to Aus.

In his early days he mostly performed as a singer but around the time of Sunbury he really got into guitar playing.

He shredded as good as the best of them and when watching him I always think that Jimi Hendrix would have been impressed.

Saw him play the Great Hall at Sydney Uni in early 70's.
Still the loudest thing I have heard with sound bouncing off sandstone walls!

Yeah i was there as well and it was so loud that the paint on the interior wooden fittings was shaking off, they blew me away that day. Thorpie was a great player and singer.
