I ran into this video on Youtube - featuring a young looking Naish, and a very young Polakow - its a breath of fresh air - You have Naish saying that theres a lot of techno - garbage in this sport; and Polakow saying he forgets to do things up (like mast base etc.) - thats why he looks really unprofessional! I agree with Naish - we keep getting sold the marketing hype that we need whatever new technology to be a better sailor - but when you see these guys doing some extremely **** hot sailing on equipment,much of which, we now consider dated and worthy of the tip. The forwards on long boards - pretty amazing too!
