Couldn't disagree more, best innings Hughes has played to date. Would have been a lot easier for him to blaize away but he kept it pretty controlled.

And didnt get out.

Not very often that I miss having a TV, last night I did.
Tried finding a live stream for ages to no avail

Gone to lunch with only 20 runs for an Aussie victory, with only 1 wicket required for Pom win.
So watched last laps of MotoGP, then over to the Tour de France

......when too much sport is not enuff!

OK so the Broad decision was dumbfouding , but the LB on Watson was........totally ****ed.

Can we just have umpires that have played the game, know the game, don't work for Indian bookmakers........and can see an edge and can look at an LBW and go......"nah, going down leg!!"

Clarky should have got them team to walk off after Broad was given not out that was simply "cheating" wasn"t even a close call he was out , either that or he should have instructed his bowlers to bowl body line to Broad teach the farker a lesson.

The Broad descision was an absolute shocker and who knows what the game outcome would have been had he gone earlier.

There were other calls that were marginal, and some of them definitely went our way. It was a game that we could have won, but I don't think that we really deserved to win it.

What I found more frustrating than any of the umpiring decisions was the Aussie performance. Take away Agar and Haddin's rescue knocks and look at the scoresheets. Cowan and Starc need to go for starters.

Every time we looked like coming good we found away to bat or bowl our way in to big trouble again. Blame the umpire all you want, but Clarke, Cowan and Watson should really have provided those extra 15 runs and more in their two knocks.
