Anyone ever heard of it? Ground coffee for the plunger, I picked up a packet at the supermarket in about 2002 and still regard it as the best coffee I've ever managed to make for myself. Possibly because I made it on a campfire at the beach where I was camped for the weekend, and I was getting over a very pleasant evening of Jack Daniels the night before, but I wouldn't mind trying it again anyway.

If anyone has seen it in the Perth area I would be curious to know what shop it was in?

Yeah,. I think it's made from dried kangaroo droppings, dried and lightly roasted over a hot coal camp fire and then ground to a coarse powder using the legbone of a dead roo. It has an unusual almost herbal flavour.
That's probably why you had it on your camping trip. It was the only one available at the time.
You can still pick up the raw ingredients in the paddocks and make it yourself.
You might find it doesn't taste quite so nice if you don't spend the previous night on the Jack Daniels.
( oh, and before someone tries it,.. )

Been there, tried that. I'm not looking for alternatives, I'm looking for one particularly hard to find coffee just to see if I am remembering it right or had a few too many JDs.

No help to you Greenpat, but my vote for good coffee is Goroka Highlands Blue, from PNG. For some reason I can get it cheaper at my local store in Hobart than in PNG. It's best to use Baileys Irish Cream instead of milk.
