Around Australia Day and Anzac Day etc there is a lot in the press about how wonderful and noble Australians are. The great attributes we have as a race. Kind, selfless etc. I know the truth however. The truth is the average Australian is either an inconsiderate pig or a fool. How do I know? Because for decades at the football, down the beach in caravan parks etc I have used the public toilets. Invariably and every time someone has pissed on the seat or at least on the floor somewhere. Often faeces is splattered up the bowl and even on the wall, door etc. When I use a toilet I aim for the middle of the bowl. And yes there have been times when I overshot or splattered. When that happened I took some toilet paper and cleaned my mess then washed my hands. I can only come to the conclusion people either are such fools that they can't manage to urinate inside a quite wide bowl or they are inconsiderate pigs that don't give a sh1t about their fellow Australians.

you are the fool....

My GF just came back from a couple of weeks in India.. It disgusted her that Indian men just squat down and pooh in the street and pee everywhere.. And nobody blinks an eye..

Also young kids have a habit of missing with their aim... Maybe you should open up a pooh and pee surveillance unit.

Elbeau's PPSU... Quite a nice ring to it.

Australia is very 'multicultural' present day.. How do you know it's not one of these people? Do you stake out the toilets and watch people pee and crap??

Yep... I used to work in a "multicultural" college in town, the care takers had to put little notes in the toilet (male And female) asking the users not to climb on the seat and squat, even female toilets had piss on the floor and crap on the rim! it is all about learning the civilised way!
Not to say that some peeps have an aiming prob as well!

I think you are spot on ! there are a lot of pigs and they are breeding rapidly .

The pigs / fools you speak of are the same ones that will leave their rubbish on our beaches and roads sides . Rather than leave it in their car and bin it at home or in a council bin.

i have just got back from a surf , and half way down the steps opposite the dunnys was a human crap . these people are nothing short of animals . No sorry im wrong in saying that . ...... some animals cover their crap up .

I am over these pigs that come down here for a day or week and leave their crap all over the place !!!!!

But you are right elbeau , they are everywhere !!!!!!!!

You are right but, it's not new or unusual. Even 50 years ago when I was a kid you would not use a public toilet unless you were desperate. At least now there are self-cleaning toilets and contractors with performance targets who are paid to keep things clean.

Use a port-a-loo on a job site on a 38 degree summers day, then you will have something to complain about.
It is funny throwing rocks at them when your boss is in there though.

Aussies are okay.

The problem is we have an expecation that "someone should do something about it". This comes from the earliest colonial days when the "someone" was the colonial authorities as they had all of the limited resources in old Sydney town. So people won't take responsibility for their or others actions.

Judging a nation by its public toilets is an interesting measure. In Holland you walk down the street and have to jump over rivers of urine flowing out of what are best described as "piss booths" every few hundred meters.

No bloody way would I go into a public toilet in America either.

An apprentice at a building site once brought in a bunch of mortars he picked up through one of his associates...

A 3"mortar sent an empty 44 gallon sky high....

A 6" mortar leveled a port a loo to the point of complete unidentifiable disintegration...

(and brought the cops up from town... Twenty clicks away)

Okay Gwendy yes it was a generalisation. I was pissed off after going to the footy and seeing the foul mess. But truth be told thirty clean people might use the toilets before one pig leaves his mark. It only takes one to ruin the reputation of others. And there are some pretty nice Australians. My wife has just come home from helping at the soup kitchen and regales me with stories of the wonderful people that give their time and sweat to help those that are struggling. I bet the same people that help also leave the toilet clean.

A if you have a cat, B if not.

Having said that, I have a cat and use B. Cat delights himself with pulling all the towels off their rails instead. I don't look forward to the day he discovers the date rolls.
