The police headquarters in Denpasar where a 14-year-old Australian boy is being detained has been evacuated following a large earthquake.
The 6.0-magnitude earthquake struck off the island of Bali at 11.16am local time on Thursday (2.16pm AEDT), according to the US Geological Survey.
There have been reports of roofs collapsing and cracks in building walls, but no major damage or casualties have been confirmed.
The quake hit about 100km southwest of the island and 60km beneath the ocean floor. No tsunami warning was issued.
The boy was taken from his cell but not evacuated from the building, where he has been held since being arrested for allegedly buying a small amount of cannabis last Tuesday ...

We dont have the same mate Doggie, Just got a text from mate sayin people runnin everywhere crying, panicing. He was lyin near the pool and thought there was road works near by then the staff were rushing around yelling "earthquake" made everyone sh#t.

Wifey is more of a fan of Bali than I and was there a couple of years ago when the last +6 quake hit Bali. Wifey, her sister and her mum all baled out of their rooms in gowns only to be told by the reception staff "Oh no problem etc etc"

I was in the Mentawis in 31/09/09 when the big one 7.6 hit Padang. Wavepark land camp had a full evac plan and we were all filled in when we got to the island. I have never been so frightened, standing on the beach with the ground moving about a foot in either direction.
