Easy, because you can build a 300kW V8 which is reliable, low maintenance and easy to tune.
How long do you think the head/crank/block/etc is going to last in a 300kW 4 cylinder engine that was originally designed to put out less than half of that?

The last video was impressive, even for a Volvo. Kudos

You can keep your 300kw 4 cylinders, id rather have the v8, purely for the sound. I give credit where credit is due. Some of the blokes that can get so much power out of such a small engine are incredibly talented.

However if feel down between your legs, and you can feel something like two lemons hanging on a tree, then you should definitely have the eight iron parked in the garage, and not the old 4 cyl.

THERE IS NO REPLACEMENT FOR CUBIC DISPLACEMENT

Also better put the flame suit on, and for the record, ive got the best of both worlds, the v6.
