Yo water gods, help me out. I'm after the following and I can't find anything that meets my criteria!

Boardshorts that are

a. ridiculously comfortable
b. have a side pocket, preferably zip
c. are pimping and don't look like casual funeral wear

I have no pricepoint for the perfect pair...

Lateral thinking here. Is this boardies over wettie ?, because you're a kite surfer ?. If so, then why not have pockets in the wettie ?. That will simplify your board shorts requirement. I think the below looks very fashionable.

I still can't find something quite as good as the Severne boardies or an Oakley pair I had. That material that dries fast so you can get off the water and be dry enough to wear them out,and a lot of decent pockets . Look like shorts enough to wear to the pub. Not just one dinky pocket which won't hold wallet and phone and keys (grr) without being about to lose them down to knee level in Woolies (almost been there)

I learned to search for hybrid shorts but still can't get anything jussst quiiite right. I dunno what "looks pimping" is as I have no style.
