farewell Dr Bob and go well > I met the Doc many years ago during the No Dams years .An inspirational guy that mud would not stick to .He will be missed whether you love him or loathe him .Pollies of his callibre are hard to come by .To survive this long is a credit to his nouse and integrity.

Good on him, he's living a good life. If I was him I'd buy an 80s v8 porshe. Those new hybred green cars he advocates are stupid..

Brown was an absolute champion, a inspirational leader to all the Green people in tassie during the Franklin dams dispute. His legacy in Australian politics will be huge. Many thanks Dr. Brown.

There is an old oil-fired power station at Bell Bay that is fired up when water is low.

There is also a whole bunch of dams that are not needed. 54 were built. Pedder was not necessary. It's construction was nothing short of vandalism.



I was only 4 during the Franklin campaign, but I remember it, particularly these:

Ahh Bob and his Greenies. I wonder how much they have to do with about one third of Tasmania being on welfare? The rest of us that build dams and use coal to produce power for work need to pick up the pace a bit. All those hungry mouths to be fed.
