Kdog,
A few over here in the west also - Fitzroy & Surrey Rivers (Bream, mullet), Glenelg river (Bream, Mullet, Mulloway)...all flow in/out of ocean, but freshwater further inland. Also, not a 'stream, but Rocklands Resevoir is more full than ever, full of Redfin. Lake Lonsdale is producing huge amounts of yabbies & a few redfin. Wannon River, Grange Burn both good for reds & trout.
I'm taking my family camping at Nelson (Glenelg River mouth, 10mins from SA border) for NYE & the following week with some mates & their families - sup on the river, bbq/beers, Bream/Mulloway fishing, beers, mtb riding, bbq/beers, sup on the river, bbq/beers, beach fishing, beers, swimming...etc.

IF it's showing any wind, taking w/surf gear also, might push across to Robe for a day.
