Paid a pro scuba diver to release my 2 pots, no way could it have been done free-diving, he took ages, apparantly badly stuck under reef ledges, thanx for offers of help!!

Hey Hardie, does your offer include airfares from the gold coast? If so I'm IN!!

Seriously, go and get yourself a mask, snorkel and flippers from any sports store. You won't look back, and will save yourself lots of money in lost lobster pots. And it's much more satisfying to take the lobster/fish you want instead of waiting for something to materialise on the end of your line/pot!
The number of times I've seen lobster pots in the water with no lobster inside, yet heaps of them swarming around crevices nearby...

Also if you really want someone else to get your pot then put a notice up here:

Hopefully this might be attractive to amateurs who can't get out in a boat, and are willing to do a trade, help rescue my pot, and I can take you around 5 Fathom Bank one of the most alive and productive reef systems around, it's 4km off sure, could take 3 guyz out at a pinch might be a bit squeezy tho!
