^ Same almost. There is a point were I gladly pay for an album, around the $2 mark. And overall I spend/buy a lot more than I used to, because now it is a feast of music.
If you want a mountain of music for minimal cost and totally legal, get yourself one of the Nokia phones that has the Comes With Music one year subscription to Nokia Music. My wife got a Nokia 5800 Music Express with a 3 phone subscription.
Since she's had it I've downloaded around 80GBs of music. Its 192kbs encoding, has all the track data and album artwork associated with the files. The files are DRM protected in some windows media format. I bought a little application called Tunebit that can legally playback the DRM protected file and convert it to another non rights protected format.
