Is there anyone on the water at the moment between Townsville and Harvey Bay to provide general weather conditions? I'm planning to leave Townsville within the fortnight on a 46' Roberts cruiser travelling at approx 8 knots.

Thanks for that but I think I might take the easy way out and keep the boat in Townsville 'til at least the end of Feb. I live in Brisbane and have recently bought the vessel in Townsville. My home port? is Sanctuary Cove where I've kept my vessels for a couple of years. I'll just keep flying up monthly (or more often) until then......but then, it could occur that I could leave spontaneously if the weather fines up. Do you know if this forum is the best for keeping up to date with conditions while travelling (apart from the forecasts)?
