Should have just written 'sagging rear end' in subject - I would get more readers!!
I have a 2009 Falcon wagon as a work car and regularly put around 300kg - 400kg + in the rear of the vehicle. The rear of the car is nearly dragging on the ground - not legal and probably dangerous.
I really like the car and thus want to get it resolved - called a large suspension chain - they were hopeless.
Am I up for heavier suspension? air bags? etc
Any ideas from mechanical readers - I'm in Perth and you can pm a suspension shop to visit if you know one.
cheers

WA Suspension in Ozzy Park have done the suspension work on all my cars. They'll get it sorted. Not the first or last falcon with fk'd suspension they'll see :)
Great work / service

Bags are suspension 'assist', they are not there to replace your suspension. You will run the chance of cracking your chassis.
If your suspension is shot, then it needs replacing. If you can extend the budget to add bags to 'level' the car when your carrying the heavier loads, then add the bags.
I'm not familiar with the Falcon setup, but if they have springs and your carrying heavy loads all the time go the Parabolic springs and you could do away with the bags...

Falcon wagons had leaf springs all the way up until the end. I wish mine sagged as it sits too high.
I have never used them, but you used to be able to get shock absorbers that you could pump up with air if you needed to carry a heavy load, and deflate them if you didn't need to.
You can get springs reset, leafs added, or new springs entirely.
Big name-brand chain companies often rely on their name for getting business, not necessarily their skills. Smaller businesses rely on their reputation, so they often have better mechanics.

I thought Ford stopped making the Falcon wagon when the Territory came out, around 2003.
