I agree "lets bring back the fishing forum" We are heading out to Peel Island this weekend and depending on the catch we may post a couple of pics.
Not sure if I agree with comments like "vine swingers" lol

Hi folks,I'm new here and this may sound desperate but.

Early last year some time i was looking through this site and there was a fishing forum.

Much to my surprise a bloke who was leaving the state kindly posted a swag of gps way points for out of Mandurah.

At the time i figured that would be pretty handy some day .......... when i get a gps, I'll come back and check them out.

I have had a bit of a search but cant seem to find them, I know there is a chance they may still be around .

Just hoping to get a leg up, i know i will have to spend the time and find my own spots but these spots would be handy for a start.

I dont fish for the ice box and release the vast majority of my days fishing.

Cheers

Any chance someone saved them or can direct me to them ........... slim chance i know but if you never ask you never find out.

hi aqualure ,

i don`t think you would of fitted in well with your catch and release ethics anyhow , but if your looking for a good feed try the northern end of garden island and around pt walter in the river , heeps of dolphin . just remember it`s illegal to use nets in the river so harpoons or spearguns would be weapons of choice .

for a tasty feed of seal try the island just north of penguin isle in rocko but be carefull of the big male ones , if you don`t knock em over in the first hit they`ll come back and bite you .

hope this will be of some assistance to you .

HI Digital.

There i go again thinking most folks were friendly in general (silly me).

Thanks for the reminder that is not the case now days.

Who are you anyway ..... the site fool or the site bully trying to look big in front of others??

I thought i asked a reasonable question politley , unaware of any site politics that may exist over my question .

A pm mentioning you are not in favour would have been more the way to go .

I see you enjoy scuba , windsurfing and fishing .

Seems you forgot scrotum sack fondling whilst on line as one of your favorites .

Have a great year ............... Tool Head .

Gee...... i hope thats the reply you were fishing for , maybe we could become friends and swap fairy penguin recipes.

aqualure, digital is trying to recreate how the fishing forum was, hes not trying to put you down yet he has given you the basic points (i fish them but definitely cath and release in the river) because he obviously has got something stopping him from posting it for you and just gave you a substitute.

no bullying, just a long going joke that got the fishos banned in the first place

yeah ,

not quite the reply i was hoping for .

maybe a fishing report of some sorts would of been better !

and what`s wrong with giving the old sack a tickle now & then ?

there is a fine line between taking the piss and abusing , get it wrong and you will fall , others have . don`t get me wrong , i am glad you responded , thats what forum`s are about .

oh and i don`t hide , my ph. no. is there .

penguins are regarded as poor man`s seal

OK , jumped in swinging .

Not a habit , just took it wrong .

For the record I lied in the post .

I don't own a gps , i fish by the moon , tides and wind, i only have a 4.3 and don't travel that far off shore to need one.

I asked for another bloke who has recently moved here from Broome and is my neighbor now , whilst having a beer with I mentioned I had seen some gps point on this site , he's not on line so i said i would look it up for him .

I have had a fish with him and judge him to respect good fishing ethics , didn't feel right posting on his behalf , so told a fib .

Sorry folks , bad way to introduce myself.

True though rec fishing sites can be like walking on broken glass , we are a passionate lot at times ............. just like other folks are with their choice of pastime .

Bye .

Comrades
You must be of salting any seafood, penguin, whale, herring, seal whatever.. it must be of curing with salt and then drinking with much vodka... everything taste good, despite mountain of salt, with enough vodka, this is true I tell to you, this not old trick or KGB conspiracy

Well hi guy's your a fiesty lot now arnt you? He he he ! I like the sound of a fishing forum though my idea is one of reports of trips, catches, places of interest and a good yarn comparing notes etc. I think there should be a power boat section also. We Mexican aussies like a good camp fire yarn with the odd ale or two. I'm just startin out in boating and fishing, hence being new to this site. well didnt mean to but in, that's my 2 cents worth splash ya later!
