It's for your daughter.. right?

Was looking for a foamy for my squids recently. Can't believe how exxy they are. For about $150 more i bought a proper poly glass 8'6" mini mal instead. They can just ride the white wash with me on that for a bit. And i get a board too of course.

BTW - Still got your daughter's kite pump Rello. It must be your daughter's coz no self respecting bloke would have a hot pink and flouro green pump would they?

The only problem with normal glass boards is kids don't understand being carefull around others or even themselves.

I have a Elnino that i think after the weekend might be a little small for my daughter and was thinking about selling? Havn't 100% decided yet.

When i got my kids boards there was really only the one size avaialable but now there is a lot more choice.

True jb. I will be hangin onto the back of the board and cruising in with em.

Little bloke is only 6 and not ready for solo yet.

They have boogers but if they show an interest in going solo standing I'll splurge. Until then i'm diggin my new board.. for the kids.

In fairness Rello's pump does have a pic of a hot chick on the side.. but I don't think that fools anyone.

Here is the pic I think he really wants on there..

Thats gold. I'm wondering if my daughter would like a SUP?

My son is 7 and he is 100% cool. I watch the hang on and glide in with them thing but honestly i've now got him paddling in and getting up on his own..So i can also surf at the same time..Otherwise i'd never get a go.

As i said my daughter is now 10 but she has trouble getting caught with the board between her and the incoming waves and getting smacked..

I guess with two of them out there at once for me it is a little harder maybe also..

The other part for me was having to carry three boards sucked.

My mother-in-law told me i should be ashamed at having a pump like that and should return it - given i am a father of a young daughter
So i got another one.

I should pick it up - you kiting this weekend?

I think your pump is very metrosexual 80's
The only time it will be cool to pump your kite up near the windsurfers.

If occy was a kiter in the 80s he would have had one.. but then he has huge nurries and Rello.. has a nice pump.

Hey jb,

Good thing Perf metro waves only get over 1 foot on a massive winter swell, cruising the wash hangin on the back will keep the lads out of trouble on 'their board'

What self-respecting young lady wouldn't looooove a SUP? Forget all the talk about an iphone etc it's just to cover for the SUP.

As soon as my squids are ready I'll look at a foamy.

I've wanted a board for ages and just couldn't justify $150-$200 less for something only the squids could ride. When they are ready I'll find some work bickies and they can have a go solo on a foamy.

Hey Rello,

Hmmm.. kiiting this weekend? Hadn't even been checking the charts lately as it is that 'difficult teasing time of year'

Could be a poss but squid's birfdee and life/sh!t cluttering up things a bit. Half a chance for Sat (your fav NW)

Fingers, toes and testies crossed.

Could be hairy conditions. But then you'll be channeling the spirit of 80's Occster!

Will ping you close to w/end mate.

I had a customer who bought a complete gear package last year and had one of those and took it home. He brought it back next day saying his wife wouldn't let him keep it and could he swap it for another. LOL!

Poor relative, you know that I know that you know that I know you know about cash converters and there's no other surf shop like it that can match prices on fully glassed real McCoys (not the brand). Be a champ not a chump like my dad, use your noodle or at least someones from here, let her stand proud with a real board, even 2nd hand real surfboards get more street cred than foamies and its all about the cred with surfing at that age. ;)

This one's a Redback soft top thruster...screw in fins and leggie or if you want to go the other way i've got a 6' Bourton you can have. pick 'em up on way though if you want.
Redback's got more volume for picking up waves tho.

Edit: freebies 6 pack

They could probably sell ice to the Eskimos. I have one inside and my feet are resting on as im posting this !!! had it for years and everyone who comes overs says !" thats a good idea"it it looks good but the frame i made is black metal and the one that i made is permanently bolted down to with 4 universal castors(wheels that move in all directions) - (go flog some shopping trollies ).

remove the wax else your tv meal ..... beef strog and spag bog is difficult to clean when you miss your mouth.
It was just an example.

The other good idea for snapped boards is to cut them horizontally down the stringer in 4 pieces and mount them on adjacent walls as shelves (especially kids rooms that are painted blue).

You shouldn't mount them with the point or fins sticking out. (should be mounted on wall parallel to the stringer cut.
