Can you not color code the graphs? I get very little work done when the arrows turn yellow. I don't get anything done when they're green.

Invariably there is a meeting on at 4 that you have to go to!

What is worse though is when it is SOLID green till 16:00 - jump on the bike, go home and get the gear. By the time you get there it is just gusting green ..... but heck I am here and it looks as though it might pick up .... and once out there it dies!

Once in a while it does pick up ..... just to hook you (the Casino gives a little back to get you hooked)

A conspiracy on the part of Laurie and Seabreeze Kombi Sales to get us to clock up more wasted miles on our existing bombs!

The word is that Laurie is going to lower the windspeed for green from 18 knots to 10 knots for the next couple of months!

Work is the curse .....

Haha! Imagine the lost work time, if I fudged the graphs to be green every so often! Might get in the paper in some work related enquiry!?

Office windows don't help either. Or going outside, for that matter. I guess what I'm trying to say is my ideal workplace would be a windowless subterranean cell with no phones, internet or contact with the outside world of 20-25 knot afternoons. If a tree falls in a forest and nobody's there to hear it, does this mean the forest gets windy as hell and we should start looking for some lakes nearby?

Likewise, if a kiter launches an elegant forward loop at noon on a Tuesday, does he have a job?

Just a long shot but I knew a mad keen w/surfer who worked as a draftsmen during wind lulls by the name of David Sandoz and his last know whereabouts was NZ. You the same person?

Last time I saw David he was rocketing across the kaipara lagoon during a blustery sou'wester, his fin straining to hold purchase against the ragged gusts, a dozen sharks in close pursuit and a half a pineapple perched on his melon. And the last sound I heard was a mad-high yollup as he shot through the south head outlet, disappearing behind a curtain of rain.

Just kidding. I'm not the man, I don't know him. But windsurfing in NZ does bring back memories.... Wet, fullsuited memories.

yeah, things have gone from bad to worse. i'd been trying to figure out whether my favorite kite was male or female, you know, just so i can address it properly from 25 metres below. my old windsurfer was decidedly female, surfboards have varied, usually depending on the color of the rails. purple boards were gay, though. no two ways about it.

anyway, this became a higher priority after my girl left. they'll only wait on the beach for so long, you know, and towards the end there i got the feeling that she didn't care whether or not i landed those back rolls. i jumped as high as i could, and still it wasnt enough. at least she left the truck and the neil young, as goes the cliche.

well i crashed the sucker and now it leans to the left. the kite, i mean... truck's still intact. i know, i dont know what to make of if either. is it a hint, some feminine aspect of trying to avoid the center of the window, playing coy, tiptoeing as it were? or does the left imply communism, asexuality, military boots and repulsive, Castroesque facial hair. i dont know. and what if it flew to the right? some questions are better left unanswered. thanks for listening...
