I'm WCE tragic, Mrs is Freo through and through.
We hightailed back from east coast US, were cancelled flights along the way, redirections and had the fastest flight I've ever done BNE-PER. Were supposed to land in WA at 12:45 and touched down 11:40, reckon the pilot floored it for the GF kick off. After 2 days from the other side of the planet we made the bounce!
Watched the game at the Federal, mental good atmosphere and town was pumping. Freo turned on a great party, biggest event in Freo I can recall and at the end the crowd was superb considering the obvious disappointment. What a crazy few days... thank goodness for the Monday holiday.
