Canola, per se, is NOT any sort of GM oil! It's a hybrid! It's a cross-breed, designed to produce rapeseed oil which is non-toxic. There ARE GM varieties of Canola, however, it's "non-toxicity" was achieved by the hybridizing, NOT through any post-harvest process and NOT through being (or not being) GM.

Canola is the worst oil ever.
The rice bran one is OK, and I like cooking with Macadamia.
