Hi

I have been thinking about how I can get around accessing overseas freeview for some time. Now that the premier league is back on I need to get my A into G so I can watch match of the day on BBC.

Has anyone used 'Unblock US' or 'HideMyAss' or would recommend a similar service? I have looked at a lot of reviews but am still not convinced to hand over my hard earned just yet.

Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Alternatly just wait a day or so after MOD has been broadcast then download it.
Lots of places to find MOD just google Match of the Day torrent.

Ted if you're going to watch it on a teev then better to get it via channel BT like poor rellie says.

Freeview/catchup/etc tends to be low res (just about ok in a small window in pc monitor) and quite often they still pack in ads.

thanks for that. The whole idea of trying to get one of these products / services working is so we can also watch other BBC content and in the US Netflix and US shows as well. My GF works odd hours so the on-line TV shows work a treat for her!

I think I might just give one a go and see what happens........will revert with the outcome next week.

A couple torrents site I use are ww25.thebox.bz/ and www.uknova.com. Make sure that you read the downloading rules, there is an agressive stance against leeches and it is very easy to get kicked off.

Lamnia works well. upside is that it does work, is quick and the support is first rate (online techies really know their stuff). downside is that it costs 6 quid a month, although you can halve this if you buy a longer term upfront. Also has nodes in Us and Canada, although never used them. Check iplayer first though to make sure that they load MOTD - some content probably has rights issues etc

Premier league ey?

Why not just head out to the back yard - tap yourself lightly on ankle (you don't need to actually make contact) with a handbag and roll about screaming in agony until the presented with the ball, then 'miraculously' spring back to full fitness.

Kind of the same experience innit gov?
