Any one know how to restore the iphone 4s back to version 6. As the new update has killed wifi on my phone.

I have done the rounds on google and nothing tried so-far has worked, apart from having to setup phone again but still cannot get rid of version7.

Thanks in advance.

Also not getting a new phone, also happy with phone just not current software. Just need help with this "1" issue please.

You cant go back
It was a setting change, cant recall exactly what it was, something to do with set up in Safari needs to be changed. Try this, go to Safari, clear cookies and clear history, then in the block Cookes, tab so its ticked on " from third parties and advertisers"
See how you go, but yes it is a pain in the coit

Ive been holding off on the whole update to ios 7+.... not sure why... maybe I just dont like change.

There is a way to go back youngbull but only for certain devices and super involved... Google "How to go back to IOS 6"

Interested to get thoughts from people who have updated... Have you had issues such as poor Youngbull, do you love it more than a 23 knot alpha???

No issues, all good after the first glitch. Have had it for a while now.

It can be done as here is a local fellow in Esperance that's solved it.

He posted this on facebook..........Just wondering if anyone has lost their wifi on an Iphone 4S after an update? It's quite a well acknowledged issue. There is a fairly simple fix for this, touch wood. Pm me if you have the issue and I will tell you what to try.

Well jebus if you 2 have got it right -- glad for you 2 ---- yay, cheers for the advice.

Thanks to all above previous 2 post. No matter what I download and reset, still no wifi. Tried smashing flat onto a concrete slab that just made the screen turn blue for 10 or so seconds and sprung into life still fudged.
