most car speed readers show few kms more... so you are really driving under the limit in the right hand lane... unless you have some gadget that tells you exact speed (like gps or something)...
....
Almost all cars over read by about 4k at 100. I've had GPS for about 20 years and all my cars have had that error. When matching pace with people on the freeway to check the GPS always reads 96 so I think that the error is consistent across all cars.

.... Driving faster makes you concentrate more when driving...
...
No it doesn't. It might keep you amused for a little while but once you get used to it the same problems of keeping attention come back. When I was a lad I used to do heaps of very long drives and rides at very high speed. Cruising on 160. You just get used to it and have to keep going faster to maintain interest.

... so 120 would be more reasonable imo....
That's brave. There's all these drivers who can't cope with 100 and all these other drivers who can't share the road and you want to make them go faster.

... Go to europe and learn as GP sais.
....
I think the European example is a myth. On an autoroute in France you have the same problem of relative speeds. Slow drivers potter along in the right lane so you move to the middle to keep pace. Eventually you catch a slower driver. You can't go right to go past slower cars and you can't go left because there are people doing whatever speed they like. It's a matter of find a gap and go for it.
The minor roads just crawl along because you're passing through tiny villages with single lane roads.
On all the windy mountain roads you have every wannabe racer blasting past on blind corners and bikes squeezing between oncoming cars and horns going all over the place.

If you are stuck in right hand lane and don't want to give way to a faster driver i'll simply flash high beams at you. If it's annoying and you don't like it, then too bad... you can always move to the left.

That's sort of reasonable, if you do it soon enough, and don't tail gate, and the other car has a gap to pull into, etc etc etc. If you do it too aggressively you're a road raging thug and should be put in prison for menacing people with a deadly weapon.
