Today my son (non windsurfer) said to his 4 yo. daughter "do you still want to be a hairdresser when you grow up?".
She replied with "no I want to be a windsurfer" While watching a kite surfer on the beach

My kids made a play. It is called "Excuse Me." It was about a man doing his taxes and then he is attacked by a blanket.
2 stars.

Mine play angry birds by setting up their trains on chairs and walls etc and pelting tennis balls at them. Quite imaginative for three and four.

My 2.5 yo son sang a new song to his daycare kids and carers.

Daddy did a popoff he named it Tiny Tim............

When I picked him up the girls questioned me and couldn't stop laughing,

kids are funny.

Last week I had to take my 3yo girl to a public toilet block whilst playing at a park. Walking out of the building a young adult with a shaved head, feminine facial features and baggy clothes was walking toward us. I could see the question building by my daughter's quizzical expression and just as the kid passed us she asked the question that was coming..."was that a boy or a girl dad?" I got a blank stare from the person and straight away replied with "Shhh, don't ask that!" She asked twice more whilst we were still in earshot before I leant over and whispered "I don't know...!" I got a reply "maybe they don't know either?" I answered "that's true - maybe they don't..." with a knowing smile.

I had assumed that the person had kept walking but when I turned around he/she was standing still and watching us with the same stare. I just gave an embarrassed smile, picked up my girl and walked off.

Kids are so honest!

Can tell my boy is a country kid.

When he was 5 he saw his first Muslim ladies in the shops in Perth and screamed "Ninjas!!!"

Seriously embarassing......

I've been embarrassed and secretly proud when my toddlers announce at the top of their voice "Daddy, that lady ate too much cake", pointing at an obese woman.
