Whats the point of blowing leaves all over the place
when all that needs to be done is rake and burn ?? ,

Plus those things are are a crappy annoying noise
messing with the serenity of the Burbs .........

My Council tell me i cant burn off on my block
because its bad for EEE v Or ment ,
in the scheme of things a drop in Ocean ,
love a fire in my backyard , its in our Gene s .

I share your disdain for leaf blowers...

but....

I suggest rake and compost, not rake and burn.

I find around my place people to be inconsiderate when burning leaves. Always on the nice days when you've got washing on the. Line and the windows open to air out the house and when the breeze is blowing away from the leaf burners house onto yours. I've had to rewash so many clothes because off this really annoying put them in the bin I do.

Yes i agree , composting and reading wind b4 burning is good . Some stuff just too bid for composting .
If everyone understood wind and its properties as us windsurfers do
then a burn off would be great . Also better burning off at dusk when wind is light .

I don't know if it's legal, but I have a firepit. I just use them leaves and my personal papers as kindling to get fires going.

There is a whole generation who has missed out on some of the terrific baby boomer things. Most Gen Y's don't understand:

the concept of raking leaves and making a fire in the gutter or a 44 gallon drum in the backyard

Having all the sprinklers on during summer and making a water slide in the backyard

who ****a Kinte is

Kinte = roots
I also love a good fire and remember the days of back yard bonfires and firecrackers that you nail to the fence and watch them spin like crazy.

These days the younger generation make their fun in a different way.

They just take drugs that make the whole fence spin like crazy

Don't get me wrong guys. I love a fire in the backyard as much as the next guy. But when I use a fire pit I don't use smokey leaves or wet or green wood. I find old dry sticks and stumps and burn it as hot as I can which vapourises the smoke. I love cooking on coals in the backyard.

Leaf blowers are awesome! Who the hell wants to rake an acre block??? Blow it all into a pile and set fire to it or take it to the tip (depending on wind and fire restrictions) and it's delt with. Of course, I don't have neighbours in a suburban sence so no-one really cares what I do.

I hate leaf blowers. Lived in a unit next to a school and the cleaner started it up at 6 am. Violent thoughts. Most unlike me.

I use mine to blow loose dog hair off the paved area. I think most of it ends up on the neighbours washed clothes on the line.

Love em!!! I've got a second one to vacuum as well. I find it funny when people complain about the noise but when you tell them how long it'll take with a broom ($$$$) all of the sudden they don't mind the noise so much;). Also neighbours that complain about the noise next door but when it is coming from their place its just something everyone else will have to put up with.

Nothing better to clean out a garage after a long winter. Blow all that ** outside. I don't mind sticking around to watch either.
