It's yet to be confirmed in the ranking on the GPS kiting site but heres the latest bit of speed wizardry from the kiting comunity

On my fastest runs I had almost no pressure on the bar, 10 or 15 knots more wind would have been no problem.

What is the global consensus as to what is required to say the holy grail of 50 knots has been achieved ?

not yet, 500m is what the world records are based on.
