At least one TV journo's researcher remembered it and she brought up excellent points. If the leak isn't stopped soon, one former US president will remember it in 30 years time too.

She didn't say how long it took to clean up the mess 30 yrs ago.

Compare the 5,000 barrels leaking daily with the daily US consumption of 21 million barrels. 4,000 times greater! I suppose it's not as messy to convert it to CO2 and let it go in the atmosphere.

9 months, had to be fixed by drilling relief holes to reduce pressure within the well

there are reports in independent/alternative media of 'oil rain' in florida and the very real concern of hurricanes spreading the oil.

this is not an oil 'SPILL'
