He goes riding in his little Biatch Bus (Nissan X trail) loaded with all his kit down to the estuary.

where he will rig as big a sail as his little furry arms can hang onto.

Insert fresh batteries in his GPS

Have a big drink of lots fluids (potential wettie warmer)

Chuck on as much warm wetsuit as possible as quickly as possible

Crack the ice on the estuary

And launch in a great flurry of red fur.

The first splatt gybe, which generally coincides with the first gybe, Elmo will hit such high notes that would would swear it's a turbine ready to explode or a group of squeeling schoolgirls.

Following a brisk water start a soggy looking Elmo will now have a very red nose as well as hands and feet. not to mention an Icecream head from hell. Feeling to the extremities will return in a day or 2.

All the while Elmo will be smiling as he thinks of the other poor sods in the world who have to go to work

Hey Elmo. I think KnotBoard wanted to know if you put a red nose over your red nose.

Well My nose is actually Orange anyway

The real reason for going of the beaten track was just to gloat about having some time in lieu to go for a sail today.

Also for those who thought it was a skive, I started work at 6am this morning and finished at 10.

It's a hard life being a cute puppet

Timed it well Elmo, in perfect sync with max wind strength. You got those scorching runs in just before the wind died.
Funny the Mandurah graph doesn't show that huge hole.

That huge hole.

Was that the one which you made in the estuary?

After sailing with you for the past 5 years and to my knowledge not having seen you stack to the last to speed sessions where we have watched you have shrug of 2 very spectacular dismounts (visible from 600m away) I think you may be looking for the relative safety of some 3/4 mast closeouts

Congrats on the PB's, awesome Alpha

Wasn't bad was it, after I'd water started, went to hook in and wondered where my hook was, flapping round my knees I discovered, those Dakine strap clamps don't hold as well as they used too.

Then at the 3/4 mark of my intended 1hr session the downhaul strap gives way, thought my fin had busted when I went rapidly sideways.

While I was changing to the 4.7 you got the best of the wind.

Then came the hole I was talking about, the total absence of wind!!!
Well maybe the odd 5kn gust for the next hour or so.

Bugs managed to get a 25kn from somewhere, the water was only just white capping.

Thanks mate, that rehack rotates very nicely, thought I'd do better with the wave sail even thou the wind was lighter, but not so, probably got better gybe's but didn't accelerate as quick.
