Hope someone can help me with this one. We like to take our 5.3m boat to Rotto for the weekend occasionally. Anyone have a solution to the worry of leaving your car and trailer overnight at a public ramp? We used to have an "arrangement" with a mate who is a member of a yacht club but increased security at this club has nixed this.

Yeah, get someone to take it away for you and bring it back when you need it... Might cost you a carton or two and a mate if they ding it

Get a mate to come down and take your car and trailer back to their place, thats the only solution ive got. Even yacht clubs can be dodgy for getting broken into.

Depends where you live,
but you could join the Cockburn Power Boat Club, funnily enough in Cockburn.

There yard is locked and security patrolled.

Its a bit further away than Freo, but it is an option.
