It was good to get some waves with Hardie, Decrepit and Derick

Did you make it back in without a swim????

I sunk just before I got to the reef, swam the rig to within 10 meters of the beach when I managed to waterstart in a gust.

Sorry about that guys

Although Greeny,

I know you don't weigh as much as me but a 4.2m sail in 15 knots is just being a smartarze

Avalon is a bit like that the breeze can switch of extremely quickly, the one last run attitude has caught me out a couple of times.

I must admit I don't think I've ever seen that many people do the swim (even Decrep), even better though it wasn't me this time giving amusement to the car park.

I'll keep you posted re surfing runs, but I must rebuild fitness before I go tackling any size.

Party Waves rock

I think every single one of us had a swim in?
I was gonna do the 'just one more run' thing and couldnt even water start. Lucky I was just on the outside of the reef.
It was fun while it lasted though

You poleys really missed it.
The early sess was bliss.
20 knots of solid air, no gusts.
(very unusual for the point)
