would you do top and bottom of boards??.....
just out of interest, whats the start to finish process?

Yep, i'll cover both top and bottom of boards, eventually go into doing kites as well, but i need a bit more research into that.
For digital prints it'll be a simple print, laminate and apply job. The designs are done through a signage program.
For airbrush they'll need to be preped first, sanded, basecoated, airbrushed, then cleared with a 2k finish.
Either way you get a great finish, its all just a matter of preferance.

Are you talking kite boards or windsurfers?
Cause the deks of windsurfers are covered in "deck grip".
Not a small job to sand off and reapply.
Somebody here a few months ago was asking about getting a custom job on the bottom of his windsurfer, forget who now.

Mainly Kite, surf, wake and snow, they present the better substrate to work with. However windsurf boards can definately be done, doing a design for the bottom of these boards will be no different to the others. The Deck grip on the top however will prove difficult, but it can be done! You could actually airbrush and seal over it.
