For all those who dont trawl the kiting forum ;

Perth cable park looks like it may happen, like all of these ventures it need as much public support as possible through the planning process to ensure approvals are granted.

It is currently in for planning approval, jump on and support, fill the form in and fwd to Rockingham Council, fwd the link to anyone who might want to see this get going.

This one.(cheers ApEnd)

I couldn't get the link to work, so the following first link will take you to the page, and then you can click on the Development Application Proposal, or any other link there if you want.

There used to be a cable park in Spearwood for years and years before it fianally went broke.
It was well patronised in summer but for six months of the year it was mostly empty or nearly empty.
Now it's a housing development with a lake in the middle.

Um, it didnt go broke. George, the owner sold the land and was going to build a new one. He didnt end up doing because his son was killed in a head on car crash near Bonnys ski park.
Also I used to ski there through winter, it was never as crowded as summer but there was always diehards that were there.

Yes. I mostly went in winter because it was mostly empty and you got to get in so much ski time you were worn out when you left. That was in the early '90s.
I didn't hear his son got killed.
That's sad. You never get over that.

It was, I watched his son learn to ski and wakeboard. It happened at the entrance to the ski park, he was hit by a guy that was later found to be on speed such a waste
