My family & I where going to turn up until we where told he was paid 1 MILLION DOLLARS OF TAX PAYER FUNDED MONEY to TURN UP!!! Not that I don't think that he is a good sportsman,since his cancer ordeal,BUT he should just turn up on his own money.THERE ARE ALOT OF OTHER PEOPLE OUT THERE THAT WOULD BENEFIT WITH 1 MILLION DOLLARS TOWARDS THERE CANCER TREATMENT!!!!

Lance Armstrong is a living legend, and one of the greatest sportsmen ever. 1mil is prob his standard 'asking' price...I'm not a cyclist, but I know that if you have a resume like his, and can ask for 1 mil...and get it, why wouldn't you? I wonder what sort of coin his appearance generates?
Tiger can ask for $3mil...and generated around $20mil for his Melbourne visit - not to mention what else Tiger generated.
