Technically, yes, I got a Queensland Transport one 11 years ago to coach rowing crews on the Brisbane River. They told me it was valid for life and transferable, so I assume would be recognisable here. In practice, however, I recommend that nobody give me control of a boat before I do a bit of a refresher...

Hey Kent, or anybody in WA who has one, is it printed on your driver's licence? It used to be on my QLD one but there's nothing on my WA one. Perhaps it doesn't transfer automatically?
