How good was that!
Had everything but rain, can't deny Alonso is a brilliant driver scoring 1st wether you like him or not, great effort by Kimmi as well. And to see Schumacher and Webber come through the field in the last 15 laps for 3rd and 4th (MS first podium since 2006) was awesome with front runners suffering from reliability and taking each other out, very entertaining race.
This result puts Webber second behind Alonso in the drivers championship.

Excellent race, tyre strategies coming into play

Some shonky driving from a few offenders

Maldonado hasn't two brain cells to rub together

Felt for Hamilton 12 secs lost in pits then PM's brain fade

Webber's 19th to 4th

Alonso is showing his true capabilities

Very good race

Great race
How's the jacks that failed on Hamilton's pit stop, then taken out a few laps from home. I don't go him much as a driver, and to put your car in that situation, racing against someone who's tyres were wayyyy better deserved the outcome he got. All he had to do was let him loose and coast home for 3rd the dip stick[}:)]
Great to see Webber constantly up there. Goes to show how good he is when under the pump

Can't stand Hamilton but no way was he to blame for that one. Maldonado got a little overexcited and should have waited a corner or two.

Red bull could be unstoppable in Silverstone but the way things are going who knows. Really great season so far.

Rumour of Schumacher possibly losing his 3rd place for a yellow flag infringement . I backed Webber for a podium finish at 10:1.

It was indeed a very drama filled race. Super stoked for webber going 19th-4th.

I don't see how Hamilton was at fault at all then. Just because he is slower doesn't mean he can't defend. Other car just cleaned him up.

I was surprised the driver, can't remember who, who got the puncture keep driving so fast. It is quite a spectacle watching a tyre get shredded and flung all over the place though.

Activating DRS under yellow, you may get lucky, wouldn't be the first time he came from the back for a podium, maybe he should start from the back more often.
I liked Hamilton when he first started but gone off him as well, acts like a spoilt brad at times but didn't deserve what he got, Maldonado drives like a thug.
Felt for Seb, had it in the bag, if only he would stop holding his finger up when he poles or wins I'd respect him more.

MS was cleared and retained his third place as although he activated his DRS in the yellow zone he had slowed considerably beforehand.

PM got pinged 20 sec (and lost 10th) for thumping LH as he "failed to rejoin the track in a safe manner,"

It was JEV who shredded his tyre and couldn't get back into the race because of the damage it caused and they couldn't get a new wheel on because the strips of tyre had wrapped around the brake hub.

Never seen so much overtaking around the "outside" in a race before

I think they referred to it as "a full throttle elongated bend"

I was amazed at the overtaking, I think Webber should start at the back all the time.

Didn't say Hamilton was at fault, he wasn't, what I should have spelt out was, he was a bit too keen for the rubber he had on his car, and thought he would race him in a no win situation. As you pointed out, couple more corners and he was dusted anyway.
Sometimes it's better to score "some" points and finish, than not to finish at all.
How's Kimmi pit boss, about 15 laps from home, predicting that Hamilton and the leader at the time tyres would go off about 3-4 laps from home.

Yeh I see what you mean.

I'm still on Hamilton's side with this. I think no matter which driver was in front, they wouldn't make it any easier for someone to pass, even if they were the slower driver. Turns out they both left without points anyway...

And yeh Kimi's crew were on the money then. Would love to see him win one. One of my favourite drivers (mostly because of his off-racetrack antics )

Was a good race to watch.

Was it maldonado that tried to overtake webber earlier in the race on the inside, then pushed him off the track, which caused him to loose a few paces (when he was stuck behind Riccardo)?

I just wish channel 10 would start at 9:30 sharp - none of this 9:45 business...

Does anyone else really like the BBC / Sky commentators and not Rust/Baird/Beattie? They seem to know sooo much more that's going on in F1.

They are definitely better commentators except for being just a tiny bit biased towards Button and Hamilton lol.
