State of Origin....do nsw'lers care anymore?

Just went to the local pub to watch the game here in nsw , so I could rub their noses in another ass kicking by QLD.
The pub only has 4 people in it,music playing,no tv's on.
Have the nsw'lers completely given up on following the origin from so many beatings?
Or is it because the game is in mexico(Melbourne)where people only watch footie if the players are wearing small tight shorts and still get a point,even when they miss,just for having a go.

On the beach between Coffs and Grafton.
Use to be a big night up the pub, free beers till first try,finger food etc.
Now the locals dont seem to follow it anymore.The local pub has not put on any promo's at all.The game is on one tv now,no sound,no one here.Sore losers?

Or are they sick of me running around in my QLD jumper giving them $hit.

I reckon that if it stays too one sided for too long it will die off, and for that reason (and that reason only) I wouldn't be too upset if the Blues won for a Chang.

Why go out when it costs heaps (Last time I had a drink in NSW it cost me $8 for a half shot -15ml - and some dodgy postmix coke !!!) and you've got a giant screen at home anyway?

Seems like its more popular here!! At my local last night the joint was full of both sides, I went home at half time as it wasnt really that interesting

When I was in WA no one knew ( or cared ) what Origin was. And now your sayin' its on telly....at the pub?.... In WA?
I always new WA stood for Wait Awhile, but I thought it was staunch rules and a bit of Union.

PS The state of origin game you guys out west saw was from 1984. Wally Lewis is no longer the Qld captain.
