Do you like to curse? Was brought up swearing seems to be a habit which is hard to break, can remember getting reprimanded a few times as an apprentice, in the office, at home , out in public
Are you anti-cursing? Not necessarily
Does it offend you? Only when it is definitively spoken as an insult, generally swearing in australia is like "umms and Arr's in a sentence
Would you prefer not to hear it? I'd prefer not to have such a potty mouth, unfortunately my mouth generally kicks in about an hour and a half before my brain
Are there some words that are over the line? Yep, don't drop the C bomb
Do men curse more than women? Yep without a doubt
Would you curse in front of your child? "In front of" yes (although I try not to swear at home as my beloved will spit it occasionally), "at them" is definite no no but I have done it and felt like a right ****e afterwards.
Or punish him/her for doing it. Will pull them up if it is a regular occurance as it's a habit which is hard to get out of once started
Should Bono have been fined for saying "****" on TV. No If anyone should be fined it should be the TV station as they chose to air the offensive material, they have the option of editing unless it was a live to air interview
Isn't it a "free speech" issue? Free speech is a different issue to swearing
Just done my Tax return now I've got to do some work work
