I have "EyeTV" on the computer
Same here Simondo! had it for a few year now and love it.
You can set it up to record a series and export it to iTunes to watch on TV later with an apple TV. With Ice TV E.P.G. it makes it all simple.
I'm addicted to ABC and SBS docos and have a heap recorded to watch, when I get time..
Only problem is you need a bit of Hard drive space if you want to keep any of it.
But exporting to iTunes makes the files way smaller.
Can't remember the last time I watched an advert!
Actually, I'm watching RocKwiz, recording Air crash investigators and posting this message all at the same time.
If you put your home movies in iTunes you can also watch them through apple TV inc all your digital photos.
As a side thought...
I't is becoming more important for people to backup / manage their digital life as we start to store more things digitally.
We almost need a international "Backup Day"
I have heard of a few people losing all their kids baby photos because they do not backup. Hard drives will fail one day for sure.
Personally i have 2 x 1Tb hard drives in RAID1 mode for my "media" where they make copies of each other.
Using the Macs Time machine software, keeps it all backed up nice and easy.
Love it.
Edit: I knew it was a good idea!
