Is the census designed to help government improve all of our lives, or as I see it, something governments will use to see what the majority are willing to tolerate?

I guess this is more of a world view question. Are you more of a glass half person or half empty person.

I used to be more half glass full, but I got older. 🤣

I've filled out the form and I'm half full.

I think it's unlikely a gay nightclub or a special needs centre will be opening down the street from my place anytime soon.

Little known fact about the (con)census :

Many years ago it couldn't be completed electronically or even by post, you had to travel to the nearest major urban centre to be counted.

And it was during one of these events that Carantoc was born. Although when Carantoc's parents arrived at the counting station there was no room in any of the hotels and eventually the only place they could find to stay was in a horse shed. Anyways, long story short, the whole thing went on to become somewhat of local folklore and quite a celebrated event.
