Hi guys,
is there a script you can run that displays the number of users online at any given time for seabreeze? I've seen this on other forums and wonder if it would be a helpful addition, what do you think guys n gals?

cheers

Most forum scripts are php programmed (least open source ones are) were as far as I can tell this ones using Microsoft’s asp server sided scripting. Not that has anything to do with displaying number of users currently online because it’s all functional regardless of back end scripting but anyhow I digress... yeah it would be nice feature especially if its Ajax based. as for a chat program go check out flashchat from www.tufat.com to integrate into seabreeze but then you need php and mysql running in the backend, still its better than using a Linux shell account based client.. Blah hassles... did I mention I am a bit of a nerd... lol

True - It might clean up the forum, but you would find more people in a seabreeze 'chat' room causing problems and being narky, and this cannot be watched as closely or continually as the forum can be, unless a bot is generated to eradicated and cancel people from joining a conversation after certain profanities etc. have been used.
