This is a 7 day a week job early starts finishing after lunch, 3 days off a month over the moon, finishing early July. $200 per day plus super and percentage based bonuses. If you think you have the balls for this great lifestyle job get in touch or tell your mates about it. Wind blows everyday. Chris

Plus the percentages. Anyway you could do this job for a number of reasons, you want to work in WA for a while and go to the beach in the afternoon. It would be a good experience for someone not sure what they want to do with their life too.

the two hundred dollars a day is a retainer the general percentage rate is 9 or 10% of catch value in the last six weeks my crew earnt approx $21k one was only 18. im not looking for a university educated ****er just a labourer who wants a go at something differant i thought this would be a good place to search for such a person. have a burn if you feel it will boost your ego.

if i hadnt just enrolled in tafe, and get sea sick to the point of rather being dead i would give it a crack, its around $1400 a week, and if you land a mother load it could be more, , wich is still pretty good juding your on the water all day, get to see the wind shift around (hopfully) and thats a full rig each week and a new board and sail every fortnight
and i couldnt agree more with MintoxGT, if you dont think its good y bother even putting input on it. its like going to the big day out and going to a band wich you hate just so you can show your home made banner saying OPERATOR PLEASE shut up ( i like keeping up with the news

If you post on public forums expect to get opinions that are different to yours.
My Dads Uncle works from Lano/Wedge on his own boat and I did a stint as a deckie for him and it was sh1t work! In the sun, hard going, glarey, hot, smelly, bumpy, real early starts and whos to say you get a good catch? Do that for a week Jords and you will be wanting to go back to Mums cooking. By the time the wind comes in your too screwed to sail because your arms are shot from pulling in the pots. Try going to bed early, after an arvo wavesailing sesh AND with day light savings, to get up super early to do that all over again!?
Chris said he needs a fit and strong bloke... why?
So what is the start time? 4am? For an 8 hour day you would have to finish by 12, not after lunch! Im guessing an average day would be 10 hours? And 7 days a week! @#$% that! No overtime rates for Saturday and Sunday?
Hmmm...
