another option is to rent a big car(pick up/ute). van, truck directly from the airport. (if they 've got some)

HI ya hoser, I came back from Bali recently with the following,
1. Surfboard
2. Baby
3. Wife
4. Baby porta cot, (heavy big bugger)
5. Pram (foldy type but as above)
6. 4 big bags, (fulla Bali crap)
7. Baby back pack,
incidentely,a back pack is more versatale than a pram Bali footpaths are NOT pram friendly, but not as conducive for sleep for the little one.

We exceeded the weight limit, but all you do is look harased and sick the baby on them and they wave you on,

Any way, the point for your info, is at 5 am or whatever time it was we just ambled out the front, and there waiting for us was a 12 seater Van, we jumped in with all the gear, no probs and sped to Freo, cost $50 or $60 cant remember cause the kid does all the financial transactions. Easy.

Good luck. I would pick you up but $50 is not enough to induce me to get up let alone drive to the airport!! any way I dont know you and you could be weird.

Well I had to modify the Van a bit, seems that the van market attract weird people that want: sunroofs, special colors, and aircond (for winter) but don't care much about the engine, tyres etc...
So I cut a sunroof , painted it pink and installed a freezer with no door.
End up putting the price up to 5000 bucks.
Lot of work but turns out to be good business

surf is @#$% and crowded

i just got back from a surf just then
waves where small and inconsistant but i dont care coz i was the only one out
just me myself and i ....and one fisherman
perth has @#$% waves and too many @#$% surfers
you need to travel to get good waves and even then the line-up is packed with agressive meat heads who dont know how to chill and the vibe is not cool
its better left alone
hoser you sound new to perth.... stick with me and ill show you the goods.... uncrowded waves during the weekdays

the way %90 (any figure will do.... i will even consider the curvey ones) of metro surfers conduct themselves im ashamed to call myself a surfer
but because of the goodvibes im quick to claim i belong to the windsurfing community
but please dont compare me to elmo whatever you do (or hardie at that)
