My best advice would be to bring a 12.5m for the lighter days and a 10.0m for the windier stuff

Just joshin, where will you be sailing, as north is stronger than south, rivers and esturies less windy than the ocean How much do you weigh, what boards, what type of sailing

Seabreezes here form around high pressure systems, so as the high pressure system nears the coast, you get strong seabreezes, 20 -30 knots, sometimes up to 35 kts, sometimes for days on end, then the breezes get lighter 18 to 25 kts for a day or two, then 15 - 20 kts, then 12 to 18 kts then just very light 8-15kts.

You can sail easterlies in the morning and seabreezes in the pm.

Be more specific and others may be able to help you more

Bring it all,

If you want to squeeze every last bit of sailing you can, bring the 5.8 mt, and buy yourself a very cheap bigger board, the market is flooded with really good boards, going very cheap, then you'll sail heaps!!!!!!!!

What's this??? weight in lbs????? you're not a sepo are you???
Only an American windsurfer would weigh themselves in pounds!!
Let alone expect any Australian under the age of 40 to know what your talking about.
Let you into a little secret the rest of the world knows!
If you weigh yourself in kilograms, that gives you a very good idea of how your board will float you. ie your 70l board will float 70 kilograms in fresh water, (including the weight of the board of course)

Sheesh sorry mate, didn't mean to offend, but it certainly looks Yankee.
So please explain, why are you using lbs, am I wrong about the USA being the only place still using it. Don't want to make the same mistake twice.

Don't know what sort of tradesman you're talking about, all that I've worked with in the last 30 years, all use mm.
But I still measure my height & surfboards in feet & inches, and my windsurfers are a mixture of both. But since I started windsurfing my weight's always been in kg.

Funny init!!
